CSPE Action Project – 2C – Focus Ireland
This year the second year group of 2C decided to undertake their action project for Focus Ireland. The students’ voluntarily took part in a 1st year sports day within the school and also carried out a bake sale to raise money for the organisation (€250 in total).
Having had gained invaluable knowledge from the Focus Ireland guest speaker, Rebecca Reynolds, the students became very passionate about the project. 2C also travelled to Waterford to see the ‘High Hopes Choir’ perform and hear the experiences that each member had gone through.
As a class teacher, I could not be more proud of the work, effort and dedication the students put into fundraising for such a great cause. Well done 2C!!
